Students should not have to suffer by going to a failing school system.  School choice means it allows public education funds from their residing town or city to follow students to the schools or services that best fit their needs—whether that’s to a public school, private school, charter school, home school or any other learning environment parents choose for their kids
One of my main focuses are small businesses.   As a small business owner, I see the struggles that small businesses face with burdensome regulations and red tape. RI is ranked dead last for business according to CNBC. Â
 I would also like to push for budget transparency. I feel the issue with spending is whether lawmakers are following the rules designed to promote openness and ensure the public understands where all the money is going.Â
The Governor can take out specific items he or she opposes and send the modified bill or budget back to the general assembly   Â
Wasteful government spending has been an issue for years in Rhode Island. Â We need to step back on this wasteful spending to offset the states budget shortfalls. Â
